    Outdoor Instructors

    Our Mendip Family is growing! We are looking for qualified instructors who love the outdoors to come and join the best team in the industry for the Summer Season 2020!


    - Seasonal Instructor Positions
    - Start Date TBC (Approx April 2020)
    - Starting Wage £18,450.00 - £19,650.00 pro rata
    - up to 46 hours per week
    - Permanent contracts possible for right candidates
    - 28 days holiday pro rata

    Mendip is an expanding, dynamic business that is looking for its newest team members. You will be required to run activities for a range of clients in a variety of locations, both locally and nationally. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team and have a passion for delivering exceptional activity sessions. In house training will be given in all our activities which are not covered by NGB qualifications. Other benefits include free recreational skiing/snowboarding and a training budget.

    Essential experience and qualifications

    - Full UK Driving license
    - Age 21+ (For vehicle insurance)

    - Valid SPA/RCI

    Customer Service Team

    If you love people, you're outgoing and know your way around a computer then join our exciting outdoor company. We do not currently have any vacant positions however we are always happy to hear from you if you think you are a perfect fit for this role.

    Mendip is an expanding, dynamic business that is looking for its newest team member. Working at Mendip is not your normal 9-5 sat behind a computer type of role, and we are looking for someone who will shine in this opportunity!

    You will be the face of Mendip, manning the customer service desk and the first point of contact for our customers. Answering phones, emails and enquiries will be just the tip of the iceberg as this role includes briefing customers on our self led activities such as disc golf and tobogganing.

    Catering Assistant

    Responsibilities

    Mendip is an expanding dynamic business. Recent increases in work load have led to the need for an extra member of staff to work within our team.
    The role will involve working with our catering team and covering a range of responsibilities. A suitable candidate will be quick to learn how our business operates and the procedures we follow. The right person will manage their time efficiently; good organisational skills are essential. The job requires a polite courteous approach to all communication.

    The position is for Saturday and/or Sunday work, further shifts may be available, especially in peak times including school holidays.

    Key roles will include:

    - Serving customers hot and cold drinks.
    - Taking food orders
    - Preparing and serving some food items

    Domestic Assistant

    DESCRIPTION

    No two days will ever be the same working in our estate team. Help look after our 250 acre outdoor activity site and dry ski slope. Mendip is one of the largest outdoor activity providers in the South West and are constantly growing, evolving and adapting - and our estate team is the backbone to our success. If you love working outside, enjoy everything practical, can turn your hand to anything and relish a challenge - you'll fit right in!

    Key roles will include:

    - General site maintenance
    - Handy man / odd jobs
    - Estate grounds works

    - Seasonal projects assembly, maintenance and disassembly
