CHARITY EVENTS
It can be difficult to find new and exhilarating ways of fundraising for the charity you represent. Mendip Outdoor Pursuits has established links with a number of national charities who find our exciting and novel events very beneficial. Some charity organisers have raised in excess of £34,000 for a day's event with us.
Many people are more than happy to get financial support from friends and family for undertaking what for them is a challenge requiring physical effort, trepidation and a real adventure. You may feel that the market has already been saturated with events, but many participants often come back again and again.
Some of the events we have years of experience arranging are:
- Sponsored abseils off natural cliffs or buildings.
- Team challenges for social and company groups.
- Other sponsored activities especially those holding fears for some people.
- Triathlons mixing several activities e.g. canoe, archery and assault course.
- Meters to Miles. - Can your team cover a mile in a set time, be it abseiling, climbing or other pursuit.
Events can be arranged anywhere, as long as we can find a suitable location and at a substantial discount to our normal prices.
