ST NICHOLAS' CHANTRY CEVC PRIMARY SCHOOL

The school contacted us some years back wanting a residential programme for each of its year 5/6 classes. They have around 90 students, each year, spread between three classes. The course has to run early in the September term and bonds the new group ready for their final academic years together.

The school wanted a two day residential with each class to have exclusive use of the accommodation and two alternating venues. The activities had to different each year so the year 5 children don't do the same thing in year 6. The school also uses us for their summer residential so we needed to ensure we had different activities from those on the residential week.

We arranged two different venues within easy travel distance of the school. We collected each group in our PCV minibuses keeping travel costs to minimum. We provided a carefully constructed programme ensuring no overlap with the other two camps the children will do with us. We manage the whole camp from collection until return, facilitating meal times and evening entertainments.

We know how hard your teaching staff work, so we do what we're paid to do, allowing your team to enjoy the activities and get to know their new class on another level. We look after everything from 07:30 until 22:00 every day as we do with all our residential.

We followed up 2 months after the course; below is the feedback we received about the event:

I think MOP have excellent staff. Children/adults felt safe but were encouraged to engage in activities outside their comfort zone. Great fun. Well organised. Varied activities. Great grub! Firm but fair. Caring. Professional. You name it.........!"

Sue Whitehead - Class Teacher

"We would like to thank everyone involved with MOP for their commitment, expertise and professionalism during our residential stay. All our children gained an unbelievable experience and one they will treasure forever. Your whole team developed such confidence within our children; it really was a pleasure to see them grow."

Domonic Cooper - Class Teacher
