SEARCH AND RESCUE
Play at being a hero; become part of a search and rescue team. You and your team have to find a casualty, provide medical assistance then evacuate them to safety. Learn search methods, first aid, and how to use or make stretchers to carry your casualty; then head out and find them for real. You and your team become a fully trained unit, searching the area and dealing with situations as they arise.
This is a classic team exercise that teaches basic first aid and emergency procedure in a fun and exciting way. Your instructor will cover the basics, coaching people through the procedures, before going out with the team to search for a missing 'John Doe'. Once the person, or object, is found the situation heats up; the team deals with the situation, giving support and first aid. The casualty is then loaded onto a stretcher and carried off. An excellent challenge with loads to learn as well.
Age Range:
- All activities are suitable for anyone from 8 years old and upwards
- Younger children can participate but some restrictions apply, contact us to discuss you needs.
