A bastion of rock presents a challenge, a call to adventure, a taunt to our most primeval compulsion to conquer what is unobtainable, to pit one's strength and determination against nature and triumph against the odds.
Climbing is about moving into the unknown, stepping outside a zone of security and proving to yourself that you can persevere. Feel the overwhelming exhilaration of reaching your goal, of moving on steep rock with your feet and hands while controlling trepidation and thoughts of the ground.
The Mendip Hills have some of the best limestone climbing in Britain. The variety of climbs at our local crags allow you to learn the basics on gentle routes, but give scope for the more adventurous to test themselves on steeper climbs, where balance and courage are vital for success. Your instructor will coach and encourage you whilst ensuring your complete safety and well being.
