DAVID EDDINS -MD-
David has been working in the outdoor industry since 1995 and has been leading the team at Mendip Outdoor Pursuits since 2004. David has many roles within the company and plays an integral part in its day to day operation.
Dave has a BSc (Hons) in 'Outdoor and Environmental Education',and has excellent communication and presentation skills. He is extremely effective on management and team building courses, providing both technical support and constructive feedback. His sense of humour and unfailing patience also make him an ideal person for working with children and young people of all abilities. He inspires confidence and is able to encourage people to engage in activities outside their comfort zone.
He has coaching qualifications in kayaking, canoeing, archery, orienteering, hill-walking and climbing, a clean P.C.V driving licence for up to 16-seat buses and a first aid certificate.

"There are so many places. Canada, I loved Montreal and spent a summer in the Rockies. The French / Italian Alps, particularly Ailefroide, the climbing is unsurpassed. And North Wales, great climbing, walking, kayaking, and some great friends in the area "

"Food is a tough one, it's easier to say what I don't like. I love anything if someone else is cooking it for me"
